Meal Plan for January 9-15

This week’s meal plan incorporates some leftovers and also allows for a treat. While we’re super-dedicated to a healthier way of life, we’re also going to allow ourselves a few treats from time to time. This week that includes a donut for mommy & daughter on the way to school Friday morning.

Where possible, links to recipes are provided. Quite a few recipes this week come from Weight Watchers, which is a key part of our plan to the new us.

Monday:

B- English Muffin w/ apple butter
L- Leftover Tuna Pasta Salad w/ veggies
D – Angel hair pasta with eggplant tomato sauce

Tuesday:

B- Banana/nutella/granola
L- Frozen Roasted Potatoes, Vienna Beef Hot Dog (sliced, no bun)
D- Barbecue Beef, baked beans

Wednesday:

B- Toast w/ fruit
L- Leftover italian beef & Lentil stew
D- One Pot Easy Chicken

Thursday:

B- Egg sandwich
L- Pasta w/ sauce
D- Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry and Rice, Edamame

Friday:

B- (Treat : donut on the way to school)
L- Tuna Salad sandwich with fruit
D- Chipotle Turkey Burgers, Oven Fries

Saturday:

B- Smoothie
L- TBD
D- Italian Style Garbanzo Beans and Sausage

Sunday:

B- English muffin or toast w/ apple butter or pumpkin butter
L- Baked Potatoes w/ toppings
D- Out / family fathering
